• Review and analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and equipment to prepare detailed bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and address potential challenges.
• Research and obtain competitive pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options while maintaining project integrity.
• Ensure estimates comply with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and present detailed bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Track and update cost databases, historical pricing, and labor rates for continuous improvement in estimating accuracy.
• Assist in contract negotiations, change orders, and budget adjustments during project execution.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction, industrial, or commercial sectors.
• Proficient in estimating software such as Accubid or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and NEC regulations.
