Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects. This role is responsible for analyzing plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop competitive bids while ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and company policies.

This role is at client sites in the local Baltimore MD area

Salary: $80,000-105,000/year

Responsibilities:

Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems, including lighting, power, low-voltage, and specialty systems.
Prepare accurate labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
Develop complete bid proposals, including pricing, schedules, and clarifications.
Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data.
Assist with change order pricing and budget revisions.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience estimating residential or commercial electrical projects
Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and local building codes.
Proficiency with estimating software
