Electrical Estimator

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Estimator role for one of our partnering companies near Milwaukee, WI. Candidates in this role will deliver accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates.Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: West Allis, WI Expected Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 annual salary, based on experience and certificationsRequired: •    3–7 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction. •    Working knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements. •    Ability to work independently to produce accurate and competitive estimates. •    Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid) and plan review tools (Bluebeam). •    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. •    Hands-on electrical field experience preferred. •    Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines. In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.Primary Responsibilities: •    Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, and subcontracted work. •    Review bid documents, plans, and specifications to fully understand project scope and requirements. •    Perform take-offs from electrical plans and specifications using Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar software. •    Ensure estimates comply with NEC and project requirements. •    Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to clarify scope and costs. •    Review subcontractor bids and vendor quotes to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. •    Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation using Bidtracer. •    Maintain estimating database to ensure up-to-date pricing information. •    Follow-up on estimates with customers in a timely manner. •    Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with general contractors, developers and end users. •    Support continuous improvement in estimating procedures and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. •    Committed to continuous improvement and open to adopting and utilizing AI technologies to drive smarter, more efficient solutions.  To be considered for this position, apply via the link or email an up-to-date resume to jfairbanks@selectek.net and reference this job posting.
