Job Description
Electrical Foreman
North Charlotte Metro Area | Direct Hire | $34–$38/hr + Bonuses
Konik is partnering with an established electrical contractor in the North Charlotte area that is hiring an experienced Electrical Foreman for their team to lead crews on commercial and industrial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in running clean jobs, holding high standards, and keeping production moving with minimal oversight.
Electrical Foreman Responsibilities:
- Take full field ownership of assigned projects, driving production from layout through final inspection
- Develop daily and weekly work plans that align manpower, materials, and schedule milestones
- Coordinate with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts
- Lead installation efforts, ensuring systems are built efficiently and to specification
- Enforce safety standards and maintain organized, compliant job sites
- Monitor labor productivity and adjust crew assignments as needed to stay on schedule
- Identify design discrepancies or constructability issues and escalate or resolve proactively
- Provide clear field reporting, including progress updates and manpower needs
Electrical Foreman Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience leading crews on commercial or industrial electrical projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and practical application of code in the field
- Proven ability to manage labor productivity, sequencing, and jobsite coordination
- Comfortable acting as the primary field decision-maker in the absence of direct supervision
- Experience mentoring apprentices and developing journeymen-level talent
- Ability to interpret construction documents and translate plans into executable field direction
- Strong communication skills with both field teams and project leadership
- Valid driver’s license required
