Job Description:

A well-established and growing commercial electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial construction projects. This is a senior leadership position responsible for mentoring field teams, coordinating manpower, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel across multiple commercial projects.
  • Coordinate manpower planning and field operations to meet project schedules.
  • Provide technical leadership and resolve complex construction challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality standards.
  • Monitor labor productivity, project schedules, and field performance.
  • Partner with Project Managers and company leadership to execute successful projects.
  • Develop future field leaders through coaching, training, and mentorship.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple job sites, crews, and field supervisors.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience with scheduling, manpower planning, labor productivity, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).
