As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer in HP Z Desktop Workstations, you will:

  • Be part of a team of electrical hardware engineers responsible for all stages of hardware design and development of computer mainboards and subsystem components

  • Design electrical circuits for high-end workstation mainboards

  • Optimize PCB layout and validate signal integrity

  • Work with the latest computer technologies

  • Work closely with partners from other companies and cultures

  • Solve our customers’ most challenging problems

  • Work in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment

Are you a high-performer with passion and experience in computer hardware?  We are looking for an individual with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

  • 0 to 7+ years of professional engineering experience

  • Experience designing, integrating, and debugging electronic components and integrated circuitry, preferably in computer architecture

  • Experience using signal integrity and protocol analysis equipment to measure, troubleshoot and validate electrical circuits and interfaces

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a strong drive to reach root cause on difficult technical issues

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic

  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with technical and business partners

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • This is an onsite position working directly with hardware and team members at our Fort Collins, Colorado location.

  • There is some opportunity to work remotely, but most time will be onsite.

  • Candidate must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States

The pay range for this role is$93,400to$143,800USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Benefits:HP offers a comprehensive benefits package for this position, including:
