Job Description

Job Summary:

HM Staffing is looking for a motivated Electrical Helpers to support our electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with pulling wire, running conduit, and setting fixtures

  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials

  • Keep job sites clean and safe

  • Learn and follow company safety standards and protocols

  • Use hand and power tools under supervision

  • Take direction from journeyman and master electricians

  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces

  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

  • Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as an electrical helper or in construction

  • Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program

  • OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
