7am-3:30pm Sunday through ThursdayJob Description
Responsible for the installation, inspection and repair of electrical equipment and systems in buildings, both existing and under construction, to ensure the safe and optimal operation of power, lighting, communications and control systems. Tends to operation and maintenance of systems including but not limited to substations, distribution systems and generators. Possesses working knowledge of other trades in order to coordinate work projects.
Education- Required
- HS/GED or Trade/Vocational School completion
Experience- Required
- 3 years in industrial and/or institutional systems with working knowledge of hospital electrical and safety codes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Required
- Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent). Understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards.
- Knowledge of HSE policy, ability to implement HSE policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure safe practices in daily operations and effective maintenance and repair services for physical premises.
- Knowledge of the full spectrum of facilities management activities, ability to maintain, care for and develop commercial and physical facilities.
- Knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities in developing and maintaining physical facilities.
Salary Range
$27.02 to $38.49 HourlyThe actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
