Job Description
Electrical Maintenance Technician IIICompensation$65/hr + Agency Supplied Vehicle (½ Ton)LocationBig Lake, TXSchedule5/2ScopeSupport field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation procedures (Lockout/Tagout – LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability. This role typically reports to a supervisor.Responsibilities• Perform field electrical maintenance activities including LOTO procedures• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities• Work with vendors and subcontractors as required• Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications• Identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and process simplification• Maintain high SSHE standards and demonstrate commitment to safety for self and others• Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts• Participate in responsible waste management practices• Attend and participate in daily operations shift meetings• Support electrical maintenance related to lighting, motors, and air conditioning systemsSkills & Qualifications• Previous experience in a closely related electrical maintenance role, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry• Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures• Powerline / powerline build experience preferred• Oilfield electrical experience preferred• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report field conditions and recommend solutions• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others• Ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsComments• Candidates must have a valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license• License number must be included on the resume or candidate submittal• Tools will be supplied by XTO• Agency supplied vehicle (½ ton truck) provided• Meet & Greet interview preferred in person• Interview duration approximately 45 minutes at the Big Lake locationTop 3 Screening Questions
