Electrical Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Electrical Mechanic to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliable performance of electric motors and related industrial equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, hands‑on repair experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Duties

  • Perform inspection, diagnosis, and evaluation of electric motors and associated equipment to determine necessary repairs.

  • Conduct disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of both AC and DC motors, ensuring all components meet operational standards.

  • Service and repair gearboxes, pumps, and generators, including mechanical and electrical components.

  • Execute reassembly and precision testing to verify proper function and performance after repair.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and test results.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction

Experience
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanic, Motor Technician, or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of AC/DC motor operation, industrial electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, megohm meters, and motor‑testing equipment.

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in disassembly and reassembly of rotating equipment.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment as required.

  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established protocols.
