This role is designed for licensed journeyman electricians who enjoy diagnosing problems, talking with homeowners, and presenting clear options -- without spending their days doing full installations.

You are the trusted expert. Our install teams handle execution.

The Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will meet with homeowners, diagnose electrical issues, explain solutions clearly, and guide customers to confident decisions using structured, option-based pricing.

Your focus is advising, educating, and closing work with integrity. You are not chasing leads, not doing full installs, and not operating in chaos.

Key Accountabilities

Customer Experience & Trust

Conduct professional in-home consultations Diagnose electrical issues accurately and confidently Communicate clearly, calmly, and respectfully in customer homes Educate homeowners so they understand their options and feel confident moving forward

Estimating & Sales Execution

Present Good / Better / Best pricing options using Keil Electric's systems Close work ethically by helping customers choose the right solution for their home Maintain strong close rates and average job value targets Follow defined sales and documentation processes consistently

Operational Handoffs

Create clean, accurate job documentation Clearly scope work for the install team Communicate any special considerations or risks up front Occasionally complete small corrective or diagnostic tasks when appropriate

Professional Standards

Represent Keil Electric's brand and values at all times Maintain a customer-first, solutions-oriented mindset Participate in coaching, training, and performance reviews Continuously improve communication and estimating skills
