Job Summary
The Electrical Panel Assembler II is responsible for assembling, wiring, and installing electrical control panels and sub-assemblies used in industrial and capital equipment applications. This role requires the ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams while performing point-to-point wiring, panel integration, and electrical assembly with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical panels, control boxes, and sub-assemblies.
- Perform point-to-point wiring using electrical schematics and wire run lists.
- Install components into electrical enclosures.
- Integrate power supplies, chassis, cables, and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and electrical drawings.
- Use hand and power tools including crimpers, wire strippers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
- Support new product builds and assist in knowledge transfer to team members.
- Maintain high workmanship and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of electrical assembly or panel wiring experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with electrical hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
