Partnering with superintendents and field leaders, this role focuses on solving production and safety challenges in real time to keep work moving and deliver consistent results. - Lead projects from award through closeout, ensuring schedule certainty, strong margin performance, and high-quality execution
- Maintain full ownership of project financials, including forecasting, cost-to-complete, and monthly performance reviews
- Drive cash flow through accurate monthly billings and timely, complete change order resolution
- Capture and maximize change order value by pricing, negotiating, tracking, and billing without delays
- Collaborate with Field Operations, Superintendents, and Foremen to improve productivity, staffing, and jobsite performance
- Actively address constructability, productivity, and safety challenges through regular field engagement
- Provide hands-on leadership through consistent jobsite presence and direct coordination with field supervision
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement to keep projects staffed and on schedule
- Proactively plan labor and material deliveries to prevent schedule impacts
- Own client relationships end-to-end and convert trust into repeat and negotiated work
- Support pursuit of negotiated and prime opportunities alongside estimating and leadership teams
- Lead preconstruction efforts and transition negotiated work into execution with full accountability
- Grow backlog and personal earnings by consistently delivering successful projects and satisfied clients
- Mentor and develop junior Project Managers and Project Engineers through hands-on leadership
- Enforce safety standards and address risks in partnership with field leadership
- Maintain clean, accurate project documentation to support execution, risk management, and claims defense
- Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and a long-term ownership mindset
- 7+ years of electrical project management experience on commercial and/or industrial construction projects
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $5M+
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from award through closeout with responsibility for schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction
- Strong background managing financial performance, including forecasting, cost-to-complete, billing, and change orders
- Track record of building client relationships that lead to repeat or negotiated work
- Hands-on experience working closely with superintendents, foremen, and field teams to address production, staffing, and safety
- Ability to mentor junior PMs and Project Engineers while partnering effectively with estimating, purchasing, and field operations
