Job Details

Assumes Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager role and manages assigned projects, including coordination and or direction for the design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basisPrepare proposals and reports for small and large projectsPlan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work while maintaining quality standards on all projectsLead design and construction meetingsDesign of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial facilitiesDesign of overall power distribution systemDesign of fire alarm systemPerform calculations to support system designsPerform CA tasks, review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend CA meetingsConduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observationsAssists in Marketing/BD efforts in coordination with Marketing DirectorAs other duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:Proven track record completing projects, strong project planning and delivery experienceStrong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communicationTeam-oriented, hands-on, adaptive and client-focusedAbility to influence senior-level leadershipExcellent time management and critical thinking skillsAbility to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgencyAbility to develop business and promote business relationships through client interactionTECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, and RevitProficient in BluebeamProficient in MS Office Suite including, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPointEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringProject Management Certification, preferredEXPERIENCE:7+ years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firmLEED accreditation is highly desiredAdvanced in project management, including managing work to produce projects on schedule and within budgetAdvanced interpersonal skills and experience helping to maintain successful client relationshipsAdvanced in planning and organization skills with the ability to lead multiple-discipline project teamsAdvanced in Project Management, including managing work to produce projects on schedule and within budget
