- Manage electrical projects from initial planning through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements are met.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work, coordinating with engineers and design teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and change orders while monitoring financial performance to address any variances promptly.
- Create and manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to optimize resources and work sequencing.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders, keeping clients informed of progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Oversee procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and schedules.
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies throughout all project phases.
- Support the startup and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring documentation and training are completed for successful project handover.
- 3+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects within a mechanical contracting or related environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in project budgeting, cost management, schedule development, and construction oversight.
- Proficient in project management software and personnel management tools (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software).
