Job Description
Beacon is growing, and we’re looking for skilled Residential Electricians with 3+ years of experience to join our Electrical Division. This role is ideal for a confident, customer-focused professional who takes pride in quality work, clear communication, and teamwork.
Our office is located in Manassas, VA (our home base), and our technicians service Northern Virginia and the Silver Spring, MD area. Applicants must be comfortable working throughout the full service area, including Maryland.

- Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and electrical codes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable using software and technology (ServiceTitan, iPad, phone, inventory systems)
- Clean driving record and ability to maintain safe driving practices
- Clear background check and ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physically capable of performing residential electrical work safely
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain residential electrical systems
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions
- Educate homeowners on their electrical systems and recommended upkeep
- Use tools, meters, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety codes, building regulations, and company procedures
- Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate clearly with Dispatch, customers, and teammates
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and accurate inventory
- Participate in trainings and team meetings (up to three times weekly)
- Present a professional, clean-cut appearance while wearing Beacon uniform
