Job Summary: Bell Brothers is seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and components in residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in residential homes.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding their electrical needs and solutions.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient job completion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Valid electrical license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience as an electrical technician or electrician, preferably in residential services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical conditions.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights as required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
