Job Description
We’re looking for an Electrical Service Technician to join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing equipment supplier. This role focuses on training, installing, servicing, rebuilding, and providing technical expertise for poultry processing equipment and overhead line systems.This is a direct-hire opportunity with full benefits! Responsibilities: Achieves expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience. Demonstrates technical expertise and provides specialist services. Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on a core set of equipment. Interacts with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed. Serves as a role model and exhibits professional appearance and behavior at all times, under the most difficult situations. Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Assists on training new hires and customer maintenance personnel. Acts as a liaison between the customer, plant personnel, contractors on the job, and management by keeping good communications (verbal and written) among the groups. Works closely with sales partners to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities. Proactively seeks ways to improve things, Recommends machine improvement ideas and suggestions for continuous product improvement. Assists Site Manager with planning installs and rebuilds. Works with customer support on adjustment manuals and updating trouble-shooting guides. Observes all safety, quality, and other company rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Promotes teamwork by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the department during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties. Requirements: 2-year technical degree preferred At least 3 years technical experience in the poultry industry with poultry equipment is a plus 4 years of mechanical or electrical manufacturing experience. Skills: Proven leadership skills as a maintenance supervisor or lead technician Must possess mechanical capabilities (welding, grinding, cutting, installing) and electrical capabilities (calibrating PLCs, weighing systems, wiring of any circuits) Ability to lead and train Excellent communication and customer relation skills to professionally interact with customers, and all levels of management Must be safety conscience Ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to travel at any time for long periods of time, on weekends and most holidays. Salary: Starting at $58-65k/Year $75 per diem Company vehicle, uniforms, safety boots, and tools provided. #IND2
