YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Electrical Services Specialist is responsible for providing overall administrative and service support for small recurring and non-recurring work, including service contracts, projects, and work orders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, (Return for Information), and project meeting minutes.

  • Supervise and direct overall work activities as assigned by the Electrical Services Manager, including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.

  • Prepareacompleteestimate,budgetfortheservice contract, project, or service callwithadetailedreviewof clientrequirements.

  • Manage scopes of work within service contracts, with scope of work including electrical and fire alarm services for preventive maintenance, repairs, and subcontracts as required, and repair or renovation work as requested.

  • Provide support for team projects based on the complexity of individual projects and additional support required.

  • Understandtermsandrateswithclientsforfacilitatingandsustainingserviceaccounts.

  • Manage financial aspects of contracts with the Project Assistant or Service Coordinator to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client to ensure profitability of this function.

  • Scheduleregularvisitswith Electrical Services Managers forsustainingserviceaccountstoassureclientsatisfaction.

  • Fulfill division objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy.

  • Maintainacompleteknowledgeofthestatusofallprojects.Instillandpromotea"win-win"attitude withtheservicedriverstoensuresuccessful,profitableworkforthecompanyaswellasasatisfied customer. Coordinate efforts with Business DevelopmentGroup.

  • Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by service drivers and support personnel. Execute organization's programs, policies, standards, and procedures consistent with corporate.

  • Assumeadditionalresponsibilitiesasrequiredbythedivision'soperatingneedsorasdirectedbythe DivisionManager.

  • Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performedbythisposition.Thisisnotacompletelistingandotherdutieswillbeassignedbasedon the positions role within the businessunit.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Proficient technical and customer service skills

  • Able to meet deadlines and work within budgets

  • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance

  • Must be committed to working in a team atmosphere

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word); Accubid, Oracle preferred. Advanced skills in Excel

  • Working knowledge of CMMS platforms, such as Maximo, Tririga, Archibus, Maintenance Connection, ChekHub, etc.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for theposition

  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project management, service management, or facility management role

  • Demonstrated experience in promoting and selling service contracts to serve client needs

  • Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 50%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
