Electrical Superintendent Data Center (Iowa)Iowa | Per Diem Available, $140 a day $120,000 $175,000 base salary Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead data center construction projects in Iowa. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, safety, productivity, and quality while leading teams of 15+ electricians. Prior experience in commercial, airport, or hospital projects is a strong plus.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce all safety and environmental programs on-site
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor job costing, productivity, forecasting, and quality metrics
- Implement and manage construction plans, schedules, and logistics
- Supervise, mentor, and develop field personnel (15+ electricians)
- Complete field administration including timesheets, reports, job diaries, and purchases
- Participate in fieldwork and work with tools when required
- Collaborate with prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting teams
- Journeyman Trade Certification preferred
- Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of building codes and electrical construction practices
- Proficient with MS Office
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid
- Data center experience required
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and active construction environments
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Use of PPE required at all times (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator as needed)
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
- Base salary: $120,000 $175,000 (DOE)
