Job Summary

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of electrical construction activities across the project site. This role oversees daily crew performance, coordinates with project management and other trades, and ensures all work aligns with project schedules, engineering specifications, and safety requirements. The Electrical Superintendent manages manpower planning, material and equipment needs, installation methods, inspections, and problem‑solving in the field. With strong technical expertise and leadership, this position drives productivity, maintains installation standards, resolves site issues, and supports successful project delivery from mobilization through closeout.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the project or construction manager, organize and field manage electrical projects while implementing measures to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%
  • Supervise 4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sites
  • Independently start and manage projects
  • Through managing your team, deliver against the highest standards for daily production, installation methodology, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Help recruit, train, and develop foreman, journeyman, and apprentices
  • Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Have experience managing 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%
  • Have demonstrated success supervising 2-4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sites
  • Have experience leading both large construction and data center projects
  • Have experience utilizing prefabrication
  • Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites with incentives
  • Enjoy leading, developing, and recruiting a team and producing high quality electrical workmanship
  • Be motivated to continue your professional development to obtain LEED and NICET II certifications
