Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds/installs electrical panels, harnesses and/or assembly components to upper level assemblies
- Basic soldering and crimping ability
- Manual cutting, stripping, terminating and labeling of various size gauge wire
- Assembles wires into bundled wire harnesses utilizing harness template boards
- Follows visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
- Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Electrical manufacturing experience preferred
- 1-3 years industry experience preferred
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Experience of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours as a time
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
