- Full-Time, On-Site Role in Beaver, WV (No travel required)
- * Install, inspect, troubleshoot, test, maintain, and repair electrical power systems and equipment.
- * Perform startup and commissioning activities for substations, switchgear, transformers, power centers, capacitor banks, and related electrical systems.
- * Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using test equipment and technical documentation.
- * Conduct preventative maintenance and field service activities on customer equipment.
- * Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- * Complete field reports, service documentation, and jobsite records accurately and on time.
- * Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards.
- * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customers to complete projects efficiently.
- * Assist with equipment testing, energization, and operational verification.
- * Travel extensively to customer locations, including overnight and extended travel assignments.
- * Maintain tools, service vehicles, and testing equipment in proper working condition.
- * Provide professional customer support and represent the company positively at all times.
- * Technical school or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
- * Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical field service, industrial electrical work, substations, or power systems preferred.
- * Experience with medium-voltage and/or high-voltage equipment strongly preferred.
- * Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, capacitor banks, substations, relay systems, and power distribution equipment.
- * Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as:
