Job Description
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE To monitor the process in the area of responsibility to ensure equipment and control parameters are functioning as designed. To ensure the process is operated in a safe and efficient manner.II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Troubleshoot electrical equipment malfunctionsRepair electrical equipment & systemsInstall electrical equipment and control devices/circuitsRun electrical conduit, cable tray with associated fitting and wiringsCalibrate protective relays and transducersTroubleshoot and program various V.F.D.Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in various laboratory equipmentWork outside normal shift hours as needed.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements.Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits.Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.Other tasks and duties assigned by Supervisor to perform test and PM on following equipment:
480V, 4160V and 13.SKV SWGR13.SKV Capacitor Banks13.8/4.16KV and 13.8KV/480V Transformers1000 HP 500V DC Motor and Controller4160V and 480V MCCUPS System480V, 4160V and 13.SKV Motors
Ill. QUALIFICATIONSA. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA
- Previous Related Experience Required2 years of Electrical experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; Or Associate's degree in Electrical or related fields
- Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job
Problem-solving mindsetSafety Certification or safety classes a plus but not required.VFD and programming experience a plus but not required.Troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficientlyPreventive maintenance knowledgeGood communication skillsAccountability and reliabilitySelf-motivated, curious and eager to learn
- Education
High School diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseAn Associate's degree in Electrical or related fields or an NCCER Certification or a minimum of two (2) years of plant electrical maintenance experience.
- Other Certification/Training Required
Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire.Current employees must meet all technical and safety training requirements for current position, as specified in the Master Training Plan.
