Responsibilities:
- Layout, assemble and wire electrical components of machines according to Engineering design and report all design and production discrepancies to supervisor.
- Validate program for machine operations.
- Troubleshooting and repair electrical circuits.
- Supports facility housekeeping and Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and procedures through department activities. Use lock-out/tag-out system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High skill level, thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the process involved in the position. Minimum 2 years experience in electrical. Must be able to use conduit benders, wire strippers, basic hand tools, voltage and AMP meter. Use laptop computer for diagnostic evaluation of machines.
- Read and understand electrical schematics, perform basic math. Literacy is necessary.
- Will be required to regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 70 lbs,
- Will be required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, reach at/above/below shoulder level, possess manual dexterity and near visual acuity.
- Should be able to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
- Must be willing to wear all approved shop safety equipment and personal protection equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check
