Electrical Technician

IHG Mechanical is looking for a full-time Electrical Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. We need someone to work on industrial refrigeration systems across the entire United States. This is a full-time electrician job that pays well, between $33 and $40 per hour, depending on your experience, and we give you all the tools you need. WHAT WILL YOU DO EVERY DAY AS AN ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN? As an Electrical Technician, your main job will be to install the electrical systems and wiring needed for industrial refrigeration equipment. You will handle both high-power (high voltage) and low-power (control) circuits. You will use blueprints and technical instructions to safely connect all the parts-like compressors, condensers, fans, and control panels-making sure you follow all rules. You will spend time wiring and connecting important control panels (MCCs, PLCs, and DDCs), and making sure all the controls, sensors, and safety devices are hooked up correctly. Before the system starts running, you will test everything to check the grounding, voltage, and that all the circuits are working. You will always read manuals and follow strict job-site safety rules and national codes to make sure every installation is precise. WHEN WILL YOU WORK? This is a full-time electrician job, and you will usually work 6 to 10 hours a day. You will need to travel across the U.S. for projects, which means up to 100% travel is required. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE OUR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN? Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program OR six or more years of on-the-job electrical experience Experience installing electrical systems in industrial refrigeration equipment Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes Ability to travel nationwide for projects, as up to 100% travel is required WHO ARE WE?
