Electrical Technician

IHG Mechanical is looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time electrician role pays $33 – $50 per hour, comes with tools provided, and offers the chance to travel across the United States. THE TYPE OF ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or 6+ years of on-the-job electrical experience Experience installing electrical systems in industrial refrigeration equipment Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes Ability to travel nationwide for projects WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR ELECTRICIAN This is a full-time electrician position. Typical workdays are 6 – 10 hours, and employees will travel for projects, with up to 100% travel required. As an Electrical Technician, you will install electrical systems and wiring for industrial refrigeration equipment. You will follow blueprints and codes to connect power to compressors, fans, condensers, and control panels. You will wire control panels, including MCCs, PLCs, and DDCs, connecting sensors, thermostats, and safety devices. You will test and inspect systems to make sure everything is working correctly, and you will read technical diagrams and manuals to guide your work.
