Job DetailsLooking for a senior-level Electrical Technician to support a large, high-volume aluminum manufacturing operation. This role is heavily focused on troubleshooting, reliability, and continuous improvement across cold mill production equipment.What you’ll be doingDiagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime across cold mill operationsProvide hands-on support for breakdowns, outages, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipmentTroubleshoot and support PLCs (Allen Bradley), drives, motors, and control systems in a heavy industrial environmentLead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliabilitySupport preventative and predictive maintenance programs with technical input and executionTrain and mentor operators and maintenance teams to elevate technical skillsets and reduce recurring issuesDevelop and maintain SOPs and standard work for electrical systems and processesWhat they are looking for6+ years of electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting ability down to root cause across electrical and controls systemsExperience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and printsHands-on experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and automation systemsAbility to support both planned work and urgent production issues in a fast-paced plantNice to haveCompleted electrical apprenticeship or technical degreeExperience with servo systems, instrumentation, and process controlsExposure to heavy manufacturing environments like steel, aluminum, or millsEnvironmentLarge, union-style manufacturing setting with complex equipmentHigh emphasis on safety, reliability, and continuous improvementSignificant capital investment and modernization over the past decadeInterested in hearing more?
