Job Description
The Panther Group is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Franklin, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity!RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes and subassemblies per customer requirement.*
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of material.*
- Drill or tap holes to mount control units or to provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.*
- Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.*
- Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.*
- Red-line documentation as necessary to initiate ECOs through Engineering.*
- Perform operations such as deburring, grinding & sawing. Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.*
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.*
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Minimum of a High School Education. *
- Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired*
- 2+ years experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams. An understanding of electrical currents.*
- Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.*
- Mechanical installation and electrical wiring for control panels and desks.*
- Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a must.
