Job Description:
- We are seeking a talented Electrical Test Engineer for a contract position.
- The position will be part of the Hardware Test Engineering team focused on the next generation robotic system design.
- You will work with hardware development, program management, and other hardware test team members.
- The ideal candidate will draw upon previous electrical experience, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to enhance test execution capabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with other Test Engineers, Hardware and Software developers regarding tools and techniques required for testing.
- Develop test plans under guidance of a senior engineer
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues
- Design test subsystems and documentation
- Execute tests and acquire test data

- Working with other Test Engineers, Hardware and Software developers regarding tools and techniques required for testing.

Title: Electrical Test Engineer, system engineer, electrical engineer.
Yrs Exp: 0-2. Industry experience
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with electrical schematics
- Bench testing with lab equipment
- Experience with cable assembly and bring up
- Board-level/SMD soldering experience
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 0-2 years industry experience testing hardware
- Experience using standard electrical test/laboratory equipment
- Oscilloscopes
- Data acquisition devices
- Digital multi-meters
- Signal generators
- Understand and execute documented test procedures
- Collect test data, document test artifacts and conditions
- Troubleshoot electronic devices under test
- Experience in circuit level debug to the component level.
- Clear written and verbal communication for Test Engineers and external stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment, and executing simple scripts is a plus
Performance Indicators/ how will they be measured:
- Delivery of results.
- Be able to execute a task independently
Top 3 must-have hard skills:
- Familiarity with electrical schematics
- Bench testing with lab equipment
- Soldering experience
