Job Description

Electrical Test Technician Bedford, OH $25-$28/hour (based on experience) 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday-Friday Contract-to-Hire

Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Electrical Test Technician for a leading electrical equipment manufacturer in Bedford, OH. This first-shift opportunity offers stable hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential for a skilled technician with electrical testing and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing and inspections in accordance with UL, NEC, IEEE, and NETA standards.
Test products including switchboards, utility metering enclosures, transfer switches, control panels, service pedestals, metal-clad switchgear, and generator connection enclosures.
Verify compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and identify corrective actions.
Analyze test results and prepare reports for engineering and management.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
Provide technical support for product start-up, troubleshooting, warranty issues, and replacement parts.
Travel for customer support only when required.
Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Electrical Test Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of UL, NEC, IEEE, and NETA standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
