Job Description

Electrical Test Technician / Electrical Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Welcome, NCJob Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Engineering / ManufacturingPay Rate: Starting at $23.00 per hour. Job Summary We are seeking highly motivated Electrical Test Technicians to work closely with our Engineering Department to test mechanical and electrical systems that meet or exceed customer expectations. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring product quality, safety, and performance in an electrical manufacturing environment involving high-voltage systems.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electrical testing on products according to controlled documentation and test procedures*
  • Accurately document test data, results, and findings*
  • Ensure all electrical testing is conducted safely to protect yourself and coworkers*
  • Collaborate with Engineering on product validation, troubleshooting, and improvements*
  • Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and regulations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing or electrical testing (required)*
  • Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude*
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Highly motivated and comfortable working with tools and electrical systems*
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills*
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-year Electrical Degree or equivalent technical training*
  • Knowledge of PLC programming
  • Experience building from drawings and reverse engineering electrical systems
Working Conditions
  • Regularly working with high-voltage electrical systems
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed*
  • Manufacturing and test environment requiring hands-on electrical work
