Journeyman Electricians $28$39/hr | 1-Year ProjectLocation: Carroll, IA & NebraskaType: Full-Time | Long-Term Project (1 Year)Pay: $28$39/hr (Based on Experience)Now Hiring Journeyman Electricians for Industrial Project Work Were seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for a long-term project at a Smithfield food processing facility in Carroll, IA. Work will include electrical service upgrades, underground conduit installation, and MCC system upgrades. This is a great opportunity for local candidates, but we are open to travelers as well.Project Details:
- Location: Carroll, IA (with potential travel to Nebraska)
- Duration: 1 year minimum (possible additional work in NE & IL)
- Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (flexible)
- Overtime: Optional 10-hour shifts available
- Install and upgrade electrical service systems
- Perform primary and secondary underground conduit work
- Install new gear, switchgear, and MCCs
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues
- Ensure all work meets code and safety standards
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Iowa or Nebraska preferred)
- Experience with:
- Service upgrades and MCCs
- Underground conduit installation
- Blueprint reading and electrical troubleshooting
- Willingness to work in Carroll, IA (travel to Nebraska may be required)
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- 1-year+ full-time project with long-term stability
- Up to $39/hr depending on experience
- Optional overtime available
- Work on a large-scale, high-impact industrial site
- Travel opportunity for additional projects
