Job Description

Big Dawg Electrical, Inc. is in search of experienced Electricians and is offering opportunities for advancement in this growing company. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and paid vacation. Background check and drug screen to be completed prior to beginning work.

Responsibilities:

  • Run a job (wire a building) from start to finish
  • Communicate with office for material purchases or order material if needed
  • Provide visual and verbal updates on job status
  • Know, practice, and teach (if necessary) workplace safety.
  • Manage helpers and oversee their work

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical field
  • Have basic computer knowledge
  • Have knowledge of the National Electric Code
  • Be able to communicate with all office staff and superintendents
  • Be capable of reading and understanding electrical drawings in general, cable schedules, electrical schematics, and single line drawings
  • Provide your own hand tools
  • Proper work attire/ work boots
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Have a valid Driver’s License

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Electrical License (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
