  • Pay Rate: $21.95 /Hr
  • Shift: 1st shift 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Summary: The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications. The role supports both system-level assembly and sub-assembly testing while maintaining strict compliance with manufacturing procedures and quality standards. This position contributes to day-to-day manufacturing operations and supports service requirements, forecasting, and regulatory compliance within the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for building, testing and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies per specification. May involve system level assembly and sub-assembly test.
  • Assembles sub-assemblies and system level hardware.
  • Performs in process sub-assembly testing of product being manufactured, when required.
  • Completes Device History Record data.
  • Performs assembly and test requirements for reconditioned hardware, when required.
  • Perform packaging functions in Instruments Manufacturing, when required.
  • Maintain compliance with policies QSR, ISO, EH and S.
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and service support to forecast, and regulatory compliance and policies QSR, ISO, EH and S.
  • Provides training as needed.
  • Participates in the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by identifying risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize risk.
  • Supports internal departmental audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with policies QSR, ISO, EH and S.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical assembly drawings.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations or service support environments.
  • Experience assisting with internal audits and compliance activities.
  • Experience providing training within a production or manufacturing setting.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, terminal crimpers, and soldering irons.
  • Ability to follow written instructions including assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Experience using basic electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience using mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers and indicators.
  • Soldering and terminal crimping skills.
  • Packaging and manufacturing support experience.
  • Training or mentoring abilities within a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills:
  • Device History Record documentation.
  • Compliance with QSR, ISO, EH and S policies.
  • Sub-assembly and system level testing.
  • Risk identification and workplace safety control implementation.
  • Manufacturing process audit support.
