We are seeking an experienced Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist to support and optimize our EHR systems within a clinical environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance across our healthcare operations.

This role requires hands-on EHR experience within a hospital, clinic, or nonprofit healthcare setting.

Job Details

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the organization’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) systemProvide day-to-day support to clinical and administrative staff on EHR functionality and workflowsEnsure accuracy, integrity, and security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policiesAssist with EHR system updates, upgrades, and optimization initiativesTrain new staff and provide ongoing education on EHR best practicesTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or IT teams as neededRun reports and support data extraction for clinical, operational, and compliance needsCollaborate with leadership to improve workflows and enhance patient care delivery

QualificationsRequired: 2+ years of Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience in a hospital, clinic, or nonprofit healthcare settingStrong understanding of healthcare workflows and medical terminologyExperience with EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, etc.)Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient data privacy standardsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to train and support end-users with varying levels of technical proficiencyExcellent communication and organizational skills
