Job Title: Electronic Maintenance Technician Location: Pearl City, Hawaii Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $27.42/hr Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, and lubrication on PSG (Platform Screen Gates) equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Observe PSG system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and determine causes of malfunctions.
- Respond promptly to PSG malfunctions, completing repairs as assigned, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize electronic test equipment and specialized tools to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Complete operational, safety, and equipment failure reports accurately and timely.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- Comply with Safety Rules, Operating Rulebook, and first-aid procedures.
- Support in performing substation fault diagnosis, inspection, testing, modification, maintenance, and repair.
- Maintain and document maintenance and diagnostic data using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Drive work vehicles as needed for emergency response or on-duty duties.
- Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are calibrated and in good condition.
- Perform simple failure analysis and technical investigations.
- Support additional duties involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as required.
- 1-3 years' experience in electronic equipment maintenance.
- Ability to use common and specialized tools and test equipment.
- Knowledge of safety rules regarding lock-out protection and traffic protection procedures.
- Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Capable of understanding and maintaining PSG systems.
