Electronic Technicians

Electronic Technician Pay Rate: $18-$20PERMHours: 7AM-3:30PMPosition Summary/ObjectiveThis is a full-time Monday through Friday first shift position.Duties and Responsibilities• Ensures the OEM, systems recorders, printers and replacement parts produced meet all specifications and requirements, both physical and electrical, by following the appropriate test procedure and/or specification sheet.• Ensures quality of workmanship in all manufactured goods, informing his/her supervisor, manufacturing, QA, R&D and others as applicable of items that require improvement.• Aids in training new individuals in proper inspection, troubleshooting and testing items produced • Perform other related duties assigned by their supervisor or other management as required.Required Competencies

Monitors and checks work or information and plans and organizes time and resources efficiently, which following the direction of experienced technicians.
• Reading for information – Understanding written sentences and ability to extract relevant information from work related documents.
• Basic computer knowledge- Understanding of how to access and update documents.

Preferred Competencies

• Trouble shooting- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic devices
• Quality control analysis – Ensure all product is manufactured in accordance with the correct specifications

Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands, hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
