Job Description

Electronic TesterNewburyport, MA$21.15 to $22 per hourTemp-to-hire / ContractOverview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of debugging, quality assurance processes, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As a Tester, you will be responsible for identifying defects, analyzing schematics, and ensuring that all products meet industry standards.Duties

Per work instructions, sets up test equipment and performs electrical testing of semiconductors in a fast-paced production environment.
Counting and visual inspections of devices
Assisting and completing engineering work order
Basic computer skills to properly identify and interpret pass/fail parameters to be recorded and entered Camstar (REI internal application used to enter and track production lot transactions)

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience preferred in a related field or general knowledge of microscope and handling of semiconductors.
Mechanical (knowledge of basic hand tools), Problem solving skills, proactive, detail oriented, fast learner, works well and independently under pressure.
Read and write English and basic math skills.
Patience while training, adaptable, must have integrity and be trustworthy, must have good judgement and get along with others, good problem-solving and communication skills, not afraid to ask questions and have a positive attitude.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Social/Environmental Requirements:

Work requires close attention to detail for the job to be performed accurately.
Work is varied every day, and the Test Operator must be adaptable to respond to these changes and use independent judgement to manage priorities.

Close work (paperwork, visual examination)
Color vision/perception.
