Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Electronics Technician to support evaluation, repair, and refurbishment of returned audio equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing issues, completing repairs, updating firmware, and preparing products for resale while ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electronic products to identify root causes of malfunctions
- Perform repairs, component-level soldering, and firmware updates
- Test and verify product functionality using diagnostic equipment
- Clean, repackage, and label products to meet resale standards
- Ensure all original accessories and documentation are included
- Conduct quality control inspections on new and refurbished products
- Assist in other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in electronic repair and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Hands-on experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and DC power supplies
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Additional Information
- Candidates must pass a basic electronics troubleshooting and soldering assessment prior to onboarding
- Overtime may be available on a voluntary basis
- Fast-paced work environment requiring quality and efficiency
