Elementary Education Title I Tutor in Minneapolis

College Tutors of Minneapolis is looking for a part time Title I tutor for the 2026-2027 school year at Hope Academy in Minneapolis, MN. This is a K-5 Math and Reading tutoring position. This role will primarily provide math and reading intervention for students in grades 3–5, with intervention support for kindergarten and first grade as needed.Schedule: 22 hours per week, Monday-Thursday from 9:45am-3:15pmPay: $30-40/hour based on experience. This position is eligible for health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk for reading and math.
• Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need.
• Attend Title staff meetings, data meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS or BA in Education with licensure that includes K-5
• Valid Teaching License in Good Standing
• Training in intervention methods such as Ortin-Gillingham and/or Lindamood-Bell strongly preferred; please provide certifcates

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
