If you are a dedicated educator looking for consistent tutoring work without the administrative burden of sourcing clients, managing billing, or coordinating schedules, this is the role for you. Tutor Doctor of Marin County is a locally owned and operated service. We match highly qualified tutors with K–5 students for one-on-one sessions. We handle all client matching, scheduling, and billing so you focus entirely on student outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one reading and math support for elementary students (K–5).Read and interpret student assessment results to inform instruction.Apply targeted teaching strategies based on assessment reports and student needs.Adapt instruction to each student's unique learning style and school curriculum.Support homework, classwork, and long-term skill building.Track student progress and communicate consistently with families and our team.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: 4+ years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degrees (Masters/PhD), general teaching credentials, or special education credentials are highly valued.

Expectations: Reliable, professional, and committed to long-term student growth.
