Job Description

Summary:

The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing team in overseeing Young Living's digital communication channels, including newsletters, emails, and automated customer journeys. This role is crucial for strategy development and execution, ensuring seamless delivery of email campaigns that drive personalization, engagement, retention, and conversion. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of email marketing platforms, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to improving email performance through data-driven optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager to develop, design, and execute email marketing strategies aligned with broader marketing initiatives and customer lifecycle objectives.
  • Manage the full email marketing process from copywriting and content creation to deployment, quality assurance testing, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Design, build, and optimize automated email flows and drip campaigns using behavioral triggers, dynamic content, and advanced segmentation.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, design elements, and send times to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Perform quality assurance testing across email clients, devices, and platforms with emphasis on mobile optimization.
  • Analyze campaign data and create detailed performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage email marketing calendar, database hygiene, list segmentation, and opt-out processes in compliance with CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to monitor email-driven website traffic, conversions, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Work closely with design, content, and product teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all communications.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technology innovations, and best practices to continuously improve email performance.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of email marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, deliverability, personalization tactics, and conversion optimization.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing automated workflows, trigger-based campaigns, and drip sequences.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and making strategic optimization recommendations.
  • Experience with database management, list hygiene, and mobile-responsive email design.
  • Knowledge of CRM integration and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics or similar).
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with email design and testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to tolerate essential oils worn and diffused in the workplace.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise ESPs such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Braze, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing automated email campaigns with measurable results.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of email marketing experience with multiple ESPs.
  • Email marketing certifications (HubSpot Email Marketing, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics).
  • Advanced HTML/CSS proficiency and experience with predictive analytics.
  • CRM platform experience (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and system integrations.
  • B2C or e-commerce email marketing background with demonstrated success in retention and conversion campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are used in the workplace, either worn or diffused.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event per year and at the annual company convention.

The exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified, as needed, by the employee's manager to meet business needs.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
