What You'll Do:
Project Development:
Develop comprehensive plans that include scope, timeline, budget, and resources, ensuring alignment with both client requirements and company objectives.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, promoting collaboration and clear communication.
Oversee the budget, monitor project expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within the financial targets.
Forecast project revenue.
Project Schedules:
Create and manage project schedules.
Identify critical path tasks and adjust as necessary to ensure timely project completion.
Lead turnover to production.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control measures to maintain high standards.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks to project timelines, costs, and quality.
Develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Client Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact with clients to provide updates and address concerns while managing client expectations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation for all phases of a project including contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Report project status to management and other stakeholders regularly.
Build submittal logs.
Build schedule of values for billing.
Write all RFIs.
Price all change orders and maintain change over logs in Sage.
Make adjustments in accounting software as project progresses.
