Job Description
Under limited supervision, the ED staff nurse coordinates/provides nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Recent health care experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Prefer at least one year experience in emergency room care within the last 18 months.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC required.
- TNCC certification preferred or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
