What You’ll Do

• Provide ER coverage in a critical access, high-acuity setting
• Support inpatient care and transfer/continuity needs as patients move out as required
• Cover outpatient/primary care needs as part of broad-scope coverage
• Be prepared to assist with OB/c-section needs if required in emergency
• Maintain safe, timely clinical care while covering clinic & call schedules
• Manage overnight responsibilities using overnight beeper call coverage
• Meet facility requirements for documentation and credentialing readiness

What You NeedRequired

• Active AK license or IMLC
• DEA
• Current CV (uploaded as part of the credentialing/bid process)

Preferred

• Board Certified (BC) (preference for Family Practice background)
• Rural health/critical access experience (e.g., ED, hospitalist, or OB experience)
• Experience supporting broad scope in small rural facilities

About the AssignmentYou’ll join a limited window of coverage support for Providence Valdez, a critical access hospital in Valdez, Alaska.
