Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity Lake Charles, LAOverview: Join a thriving emergency department in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with relevant emergency experience
Ability to work in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
Proven teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
Prior emergency department experience in a similar clinical environment
Ability to adapt to diverse shift schedules (day, mid, nocturnist)

Other Requirements:

Availability to work shifts ranging from 36 to 41 hours per week
Flexibility to take moonlighting shifts for additional income opportunities
Sign-on and relocation assistance provided for out-of-area candidates
License and Certification requirements to be verified upon application

Compensation exceeds the 75th percentile of MGMA national benchmarks for Emergency Medicine
