Job Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Room RN and make a vital difference in patient care within a critical access facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple units, including ER and Med-Surg, providing essential services in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for our patients, often handling a small but diverse patient population. Your expertise will help maintain our standard of excellence amidst varying shifts and responsibilities.Required Skills:

Proven experience in ER and Med-Surg settings
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications; NRP strongly preferred
Ability to rapidly assess and prioritize patient needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (5 pm 5 am)

Nice to Have Skills:

Prior experience in critical care or rural healthcare settings
Additional certifications in trauma or emergency nursing
Bilingual abilities or additional languages

Preferred Education and Experience:

Valid RN license
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in ER or Med-Surg
Experience working in small or rural healthcare facilities

Other Requirements:

Must possess or be enrolled in NRP prior to assignment
Ability to work all patient units including ER and Med-Surg
Must be available to start on 05/18/2026
Willingness to work on a rotating or crisis nurse on-call schedule
Willing to wear masks during flu season and follow infection control protocols
Flexible regarding scrubs (any color)
