Job Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room RN and make a vital difference in patient care during critical moments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, providing essential emergency and med-surg services. Your expertise will ensure swift, compassionate care for patients in need, supporting their road to recovery.Required Skills:

Valid RN license in the relevant state
Minimum of 1 year of ER or Med-Surg experience
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Nice to Have Skills:

BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Experience working in small hospital or rural settings
Ability to adapt to a flexible shift schedule

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Prior ER experience preferred, with at least 2 years in acute care settings

Other Requirements:

Availability for 12-hour shifts, including nights, with flexibility to discuss shift preferences
Willingness to work primarily in MedSurg but also provide ER coverage as needed
Scrubs in any color are acceptable
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification renewals
