Position Title: Employee Benefits Account Management Executive
Position Summary: The Employee Benefits Account Management Executive will manage key relationships within our Major Accounts Division, interact with existing & potential clients on a day-to-day basis, develop & implement high level employee benefits strategies and provide targeted service to our most complex clients
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide high level strategic direction to our most complex clients including but not limited to contribution strategy, employee engagement, benefits education, underwriting, employee retention, pharmacy benefit management, plan design, etc.
· Act as client-facing lead for day-to-day client needs, issue resolution, vendor partner management and meeting scheduling. Works in partnership with VP, Major Accounts on delivering on elevated needs, issues and negotiation.
· Will work within a client-specific team to serve all clients need. Successful AE will bring confidence, experience, and recommendations to the team on how best to serve existing and emerging clients needs.
· Provide a high level of customer service to all clients whether on the phone, in person, via email or written correspondence
· Assess client needs and provide advice on appropriate coverage levels and products.
· Assist client with documentation requirements, including review and consultation with client’s staff and legal counsel when appropriate.
· Respond to telephone calls and correspondence from existing or potential customers in a timely manner
· Provide additional product offerings to existing customers in order to increase sales opportunities and meet customer needs.
· Respond to customer complaints and resolve matters in a satisfactory manner.
· Provide after-sales customer service and maintain contact with customers, periodically reviewing their needs and updating their files.
· Keep up to date on all products and services offered by the agency.
· Attend industry training programs as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Required Job Skills
· 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a client-facing leadership role
· Demonstrated expertise in working with large, complex, strategic clients
· Ability to work in face-paced, collaborative team structure
· Experience in building, fostering and advancing relationships with primary client contacts
· Flexibility to be present, on-site and in-person, at client meetings in New England
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and understanding of social media platforms.
· Efficient and creative in preparing materials to presented to clients
· Proven experience managing complex employee benefits clients.
· Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
· Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
· Life & Health Producer license. Consulting license preferred.
Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $140,000–$150,000 annually.. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
